Hello Everyone ~ My Beautiful Friendship Hydrangea creation was fun to create.
Well I got everything on my to do list completed yesterday. The interior decorator came and we did a little rearranging of my furniture but she liked how I had it. She also helped me get my pictures organized and set up so now I can hang them. I can’t wait to get them up. I do need to get a new rug as one of mine is red and it really does not go with what I have. That could be a real challenge to find one that I like. I did find one on the site she recommended but it was almost $2000 so I am going to keep looking. Hopefully I can find one a little less expensive.
Today I played with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. I love the hydrangea stamp in the set and decided to play with it. I recently got an artificial plant for my front porch and I loved the colors in it. It had a purple and a blue. I decided to see if I could use the hydrangea stamp to recreate it on my card. I took the stamp and using Pool Party ink I stamped it on the left lower corner of the Whisper White panel. Then I cleaned the stamp and inked it up with Highland Heather. I rotated the stamp and used a second generation stamping on top of the Pool Party to get the 2 tone bloom. The leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and the other flower spray was a second generation of So Saffron. I stamped my sentiment in Highland Heather. This panel was mounted onto a Highland Heather panel and then onto a Pool Party panel. These panels were added to a Whisper White card base. To finish off the card I added some Gingham Gala Adhesive backed sequins. Here is my completed Beautiful Friendship Hydrangea.
